We stayed at this place for almost 2 month.  It is only a short 7 minutes stroll on a quiet street to the beautiful Sunset beach.  The house is the last one on a cull de sack street, up on a little hill with amazing views and beautiful sunsets!

This house had everything we needed. Many bikes of all sizes, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas,....  We really loved our stay and hope we can come back sometimes.

We loved our stay, the house was beautiful. The views are out of this world, we took a sunset picture every night. Di and Paul were perfect hosts and their home is completely stocked with everything you could need for a relaxing beach vacation. We highly recommend this house.

The home is very modern and we had a great experience, safe and secure with a private gate and and drive way.

We just loved this house!!!! The house it's all light!!! With excelentes views. We are a family of five (my kids are 10, 8 and 6) and we all "almost" feel at home. My kids ask us to return someday to the North Shore, to the same house. The house its so comfortable, in many ways. The layout of the spaces, the views, the kitchen equipment, the blankery, and you have everything for the beach, ! And it has so many lovely details like games and books for adults and kids, toilet personal beauty (shampoo, body cream, soap, toothpaste) a very complete first aid set, and every thing you need for a picnic). We hope some day to go back!!

This home is beautiful. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, and stylish place in the North Shore, this is it! Everything is in pristine condition. The beds are high quality and help you to immediately fall asleep. You can look outside your bedrooms and see the waves crashing at a distance. The location is ideal if you are looking to hang out at the beautiful beaches! Very relaxing and quiet, and nearby to lots of food trucks (very popular in Hawaii!). Di and Paul greeted us when we arrived and had a little welcome package for us, which was very thoughtful! They were available with all questions, and even surprised us with some lovely desserts on a rainy day! We highly recommend staying here!

This place was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a relaxing week on the beach! We had our family of five and three of our relatives with us and there was plenty of room for everyone. The layout made it so everybody had their own space but also plenty of room for everyone to hang out together in the main area. You could see the ocean for miles! The living room/kitchen had floor to ceiling windows that allowed you to see from all angles and the porch view was even better! We could have spent all day there just looking out at the water and it was great for watching the sunset as well. Di and the property manager were so attentive and helpful throughout the whole stay. They made our visit very easy and stress free, supplying us with all the amenities we needed for the week. The house also had great access to plenty of delicious food, a great bike path that stretches for miles, a variety of hikes, and a very clean and beautiful beach! All of this is just a short walk away down the street. We had a fantastic time and this was the perfect place to just relax and enjoy a vacation! Definitely want to come back - Thank You!

We spent six nights at Maluhia at Sunset. The house is super clean and modern, and at the same time it is extremely comfortable. Plus, it has everything you could possibly need - from beach chairs and boogie boards to binoculars for watching surfers from the Lanai. The lanai might just be the best place in all of Hawaii. What a lovely and relaxing spot. We loved cooking in that state of the art kitchen and eating out on the lanai. We explored the various beaches in Haleiwa - I think Waimea Bay was our very favorite. We had the best time swimming there. Great food trucks and sushi in Haleiwa. What a treat to come back to the house and its deluxe outdoor shower. Ralph and Ginger were extremely helpful and friendly, as was Di. We sure hope to return again. Many, many thanks for the best vacation.

Been staying on the North Shore for years, and this is the first time we ventured up off the sand and across Kam Highway. Entirely different experience - the views are incredible, and the neighborhood feels like a nature reserve. The house is perfect, everything a renter could want and more - plenty of room and every resource you need for a great stay. Di has put together a paradise up at the top of the hill here, and the property manager Ralph was there to make sure our stay was smooth sailing. First rental house I've ever stayed at where the listing's photos didn't even do it justice - you gotta experience this place in person.

Our stay was nothing short of exceptional - thanks to the owners of this beautiful home and property overlooking the ocean. The house was impeccably clean, spacious and was equipped with everything that we needed and more. We rented the lower level of the house only, as the owners happened to be present at that time (they resided in the upper level of the house). We barely heard them and they were so respectful of our privacy. We were received with a very warm welcome and Di and Paul were nothing short of friendly, gracious, accommodating and very helpful. We actually checked out of a big and highly rated hotel on the south shore, to stay at this beautiful, peaceful and spacious vacation home. Our vacation would have been ruined had we not made this change. Highly recommended!

This home was fantastic. We searched for hours and hours on VRBO and this one stood out. We just returned from a fabulous week.... it was so hard to leave. The house was exactly as it looks in the photos. Pristine! Yet, it also felt comfortable. The house sits high enough that the breeze always keeps things comfortable and the beach that is a quick walk down the hill is one of the nicest beaches in Oahu. We visited many to compare. I would recommend this house in a heartbeat. The owners are attentive and the property managers were delightful. An Oahu treasure! (See Vrbo for the full details.)
